Neighborhood:
This unique high-end neighborhood is known for its tranquility, and almost feels like a small village in the heart of the city center.
The Entrepotdok is one of the Canals within the Canal Zone, and hosts beautifully restored canal warehouses. It’s in the heart of the eastern museumdistrict, and you will find the Maritiem Museum, Hortus Botanicus, the Hermitage and the Resistance Museum at walking distance. The ‘Laagte Kadijk’ itself is a lovely wide street, low in traffic, with green trees and a broad pavement.

The ‘Kadijksplein’ is a small lively square at the end of the street with sunny terraces, bars and restaurants. The famous Artis Zoo is literally just around the corner, and you can hear the morning duet of their ‘singing monkey’s’ from your balcony.
